Community services programs
Donated 100 school bags and 100 T-shirts to an orphanage school in Bakarapuram, Pulivenudla in September 2009.
Blood donation camps were conducted on two occasions: January 25, 2009, and August 15, 2009.
Final year students organized a plantation event in 2007 to reduce heat around the workshop and academic block II.
Student’s activities:
National Level Students Symposiums:
YANTRA & ROBOGYAN are conducted every year.
Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) and students chapter (Institution of Engineers India chapter – 516) were launched with active student development.
Students have registered for membership in ISTE, a corporate institution.
Short Term Training Programs:
A 4-week training program on "CATIA V5 software" was conducted, providing hands-on training to 150 students.
A six-week short-term training program on "Engineering Applications of Finite Element Analysis using HYPERMESH" was conducted.
ROBO CLUB:
A "ROBO CLUB" was initiated on 23/10/2009.
80 students were motivated and trained in "Designing Robo Programs and MEMS".
