• Organized a national level Students technical symposiums: ‘MECHADRIVE' 04’, Yantra’08, Yantra’09, Yantra’11, Yantra'13, Yantra'14, Yantra'15 Yantra'16 Yantra'17 Yantra'18 and national workshops for the staff: Robogyan’10, Robogyan’2011, Robogyan'2012, Robogyan'2014, Robogyan'2015, Robogyan'2016, Robogyan'2017, Robogyan'2018 Computational fluid dynamics and Dynamics of robots’10.
• Established " INDUSTRY - INSTITUTE INTERACTION CELL" in Mechanical Enggdept in 2004 and conducted various programmes for the benefit of surrounding industries.
• The Dept signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the eight industries in 2004.
• Developed the Dept as a self sufficient one to motivate the students and staff to be internally strong. This self-sufficiency has led the dept to get Tech (CAD/CAM)the academic year 2004-05 i.e., just after completion of five years of starting the U.G. course.
• The dept is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), AICTE, New Delhi for three years with effect from July 2005. It was well received by the team of experts.
