Dr. P. Chenna Reddy has

  • Acted as a Resource person at UGC-Academic Staff College, JNT University, Hyderabad.
  • Presented Guest Lectures at Narsaraopet Engineering. College, Narsaraopet and Sri Vidyaniketan College of Engineering, Tirupati.
  • Acted as a Judge for the symposiums held at Visvodaya College of Engineering, Kavali, and Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Proddatur.

A.P. Siva Kumar has

  • Acted as a resource person in the National level conference on ‘Data Mining’ at KSRM College, Kadapa in 2009.
  • Acted as a judge for national conferences in 1) Narsaraopet Engg. College, Narsaraopet and 2) SGIET, Markapur in 2009.
  • Acted as Visiting faculty at SSS University, Puttapurty.

  • Sarvagnya-09 a National level Student Technical Symposium was organized on October 7th, 8th and 9th 2009
  • Workshop on free and open source software was organized by E-Swecha team during Sarvagnya-09
  • Workshop on Oracle certification was organized by a team from Institute of Electronic Governance, Hyderabad during Sarvagnya-09

Student Activities in the Department

  • Sarvagnya-08, an Intra college Student Technical symposium was organized on February 28th and March 1st 2008.
  • Sarvagnya-09, a National level Student Technical Symposium was organized on October 7th, 8th and 9th 2009.
  • Workshop on free and open source software was organized by E-Swecha team during Sarvagnya-09.
  • Workshop on Oracle certification was organized by a team from Institute of Electronic Governance, Hyderabad during Sarvagnya-09.
  • Material worth Rs. 25,000 was distributed to flood victims on 12th October at “Sunkesula dam” and “munugulapadu” which were washed out during the floods in October 2009.
  • Cultural activities committee organized Intra college cultural festival.

New Teaching Methods

  • L.C.D Projector is used for regular class work
  • NPTEL Videos are procured to enable the students watch the lectures of eminent Professors from reputed institutions like IITs, IISC etc
  • Video Conferencing System to promote Guest lectures from remote sites
